He was the son of Henry George and Annie Holehouse. The War Diary for today records. BUYSSCHEURE. 5.20am. The Battalion marched to WIZERNS approximately 15 kilometres where it entrained less one Company (A). The train moved out at 11.30am and travelled via ST OMER-CALAIS-ABBEVILLE-ST.DENNIS-FERE-EN-TARDINOIS to a siding near LHERY arriving at –pm. The Battalion then dis entrained and marched to camp 300 yards east of LAGERY. A distance of approximately 7 kilometres from the siding arriving in camp at 10.00pm. on the 5th.
