The War Diary for today records that at 8.20pm a 71st Infantry Brigade Operational Order 218 was received as to the relief of the 2nd Sherwood Foresters in the front line by this Battalion on the night of the 21st/22nd July. 2nd Lieutenant H. W. J. Brooker and 2nd Lieutenant S. F. Mackay returned from leave. No casualties reported.
