John Henry was a Dye Works Labourer and was born in 1897 in Smockington, Warwickshire, his siblings were Walter Raymond, born 1908 and Reginald William, born 1910, both siblings were born in Burbage, Leicestershire. In April 1911 the family home was at 123, Sketchley Road, Burbage, Leicestershire.
