He was the son of William Blowers a shoe finisher, born 1862 in Leicester and his wife Elizabeth, born 1853 in Leicester. Albert was born in 1886 in Leicester, his siblings were George, born 1879, Emma, born 1881, Arthur, born 1883, Alice, born 1884 and Alfred, born 1888, all his siblings were born in Leicester, in April 1891 the family home was at 51, Burgess Street, Leicester, in the Ecclesiastical Parish of All Saints. In March 1901 Albert was employed as an iron foundry moulder and was residing in the family home at 64, Marjorie Street, Leicester, in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St. Mark, together with his parents and siblings, Emma, Arthur, Alice and Alfred. In April 1911 Albert was employed as a core maker and was residing in the family home at 9, Brandon Street, Leicester, together with his wife of one year, Leah a shoe skiver, born 1887 in Leicester. In the quarter October, November and December 1917, his widow Leah married Percy Lister in the Rotherham, Yorks. Registration District, later residing at 118, The Fairway, Saffron Lane, Leicester. His parents later resided at 7, Brandon Street, Leicester. Albert died of pneumonia.
