The War Diary for today records. An intense enemy barrage put on our lines in the early morning, otherwise a quiet day. Battalion was relieved at night by the 3rd/4th QUEEN’S ROYAL WEST SURREY REGT. and proceeded to ZILLEBEKE LAKE. Casualties:- Lt. F. W. CURTIS, No. 21196 Pte. C. JOHNSON, No. 200341 Pte. H. HARRIS, No. 33254 Pte. G. KEECH killed in action. No.30833 Pte F. E. PARSONS gassed.
