In 1911 John Allcroft was born in 1894 in West Ham, Essex and was engaged as a Farm Horseman and was residing at Bleak House Diseworth, Leicestershire. He is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing in Belgium, but now known to be buried in St. Michael and All Angel's Churchyard, Diseworth Leicestershire.
