He was the son of William G., Bexon a Bricklayer, born 1855 in Diseworth, Leics., and his wife Sarah K., born 1855 in Chesterfield, Derbys. Frank was born in 1895 in Diseworth, Leics., his siblings were, Edwin, born 1886 in Derby, Lois, born 1890, Ernest, born 1892 and John, born 1894, the latter three siblings were all born in Diseworth, Leics., in March 1901 the family home was at 85, Stockbrook Street, Derby, in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St. Luke. In April 1911 Frank was employed as a Butcher’s Assistant and was residing in the family home at 67, Warner Street, Derby, together with his widowed mother, and siblings, Edwin, Ernest and John.
