He was the son of Kate Lock, and the late Arthur Lock of Renford, Stanley Drive, Humberstone, Leicester. Inside the church of St. John the Evangelist is a private memorial plaque, details are that he was the son of Kate and the late Arthur Lock, and that he passed away in Military Hospital aged 23.
