William was born in 1895 in Enderby, Leics., his siblings were, Matilda, born 1889, Elsie, born 1893, George H., born 1891, Nellie, born 1898 and Lilian, born 1900, all his siblings were born in Enderby, Leics., also residing with the family was his half blood sibling David Thornton Burton, born 1884 in Enderby, Leics., in March 1901 the family home was at John Street, Enderby, Leics.
