Captain Cortlandt Gordon MACKENZIE of Foxton Grange attended a private prep' school at Stoke House, Stoke Green, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire before going up to Marlborough College.

His name appears on the war memorial in St Giles' which is the Stoke Poges Parish Church
