Our artillery bombarded enemy’s trenches, about 6.00am. The results were not discernable but it appeared to be good shooting. Seven men of the Battn who had served since the beginning of the war proceeded on furrough to INDIA. Quiet day, fairly quiet night. 2nd Lt H. S. SYMINGTON was accidentally wounded by the premature explosion of a “Mills” grenade.
