The Battalion moved up to the support line west of POLYGON WOOD J.10.c. relieving the 6th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. in consolidated shell holes. There was intermittent shelling during the day and night. 2nd Lt. DOWLING was gassed, Captain EMMERSON, 2nd Lt MANGAN and 2nd Lt RAISTRICK were wounded.
