LOCAL CASUALTIES
The death is announced of Private W. Rollestone, third son of Mr Wm. Rollestone of Melbourne Road, Ibstock, which occurred at Newhaven on Saturday last from influenza. He had just returned to camp after having been at home convalescent from wounds sustained in action on the Western Front. He was a private soldier in 2nd Royal Sussex, and previous to joining up worked at Ibstock Collieries. This is the second son that Mr and Mrs Rollestone have lost during the war, and they have two more sons in the Forces, one in France and the other in training in England.
