The War Diary for today records. BOIRY BECQUERELLE. Battalion less “B” Echelon moved into Brigade Reserve at N.34.b. and d. Battalion HQ. at N.34.d.2.9. Carrying parties supplied as follows:- 1 platoon for 110th MACHINE GUN COMPANY. 1 platoon for 110th TRENCH MORTAR BATTERY. 2 platoons for 8th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. 2 platoons for 9th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. The carrying parties did not rejoin the Battalion until after the operation on FONTAINE LES CROISILLES.
