He was the son of Arthur Buswell a chemist and druggist, born 1851 in Lutterworth, Leics., and his wife Annie Buswell (nee Dalby, married in the 2nd quarter of 1880 in the Lutterworth, Leics. district), born 1856 in Lutterworth, Leics. Frederick Arthur was a schoolboy and was born in the 2nd quarter of 1884 in Lutterworth, Leics., his siblings were, Thomas Henry, a schoolboy, born in the 1st quarter of 1881 and Harold Goodrich, a schoolboy, born in the 1st quarter of 1883, both his siblings were born in Lutterworth, Leics., in April 1891 the family home was at High Stret, Lutterworth, Leics. In March 1901 Frederick was employed as a grocer’s apprentice and was residing in the family home at High Street, Lutterworth, Leics., together with his father, a chemist and his mother. He was the husband of P. Buswell. Frederick was killed in action at Combles Wood, France, he is commemorated on a small brass family memorial plaque inside St. Mary’s Church, Lutterworth, Leics. Frederick was known as Eric.
