He may have been the cousin of William Gragory of Market Harborough- based on the following In Memoriam announcement in the Market Harborough Advertiser on March 8th 1946:
Gregory- Treasured memories of the dearest of tSons and Brothers. Bill died of wounds March 7th 1945. Also our Billy, cousin of the above, killed during air operations over Germany, March 24th 1945.
