ContributeSource: Michael Doyle Their Name Liveth For Evermore: The Great War Roll of Honour for Leicestershire and Rutland. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Robert Killips. He was a moulder by trade, and after enlisting embarked for France on the 17th March 1917. He fought in France and Belgium and was a first class machine gunner and bomber, he was killed by a shell near Lens. His brother William also fell.
