The CWGC records two individuals with this name- we are not sure which details correspond with this man:
Private Alfred Freeman 2850, d. 13/10/1915 aged 20
1st/4th Leicestershire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, of 21 Church Avenue, Leicester. Alfred served alongside B. Clarke in the same Battalion- they died on the same day. It is compelling to believe that they may have worked together before the war. Alfred is commemorated at the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, Panel 42-44.

The second record is as follows:
Private A Freeman 2254, d. 09/10/1915, 4th Bn Leicestershire Regiment, son of Alfred Freeman of 57 Flax Road, Melton Road, Leicester. A Freeman died of his wounds and is buried at Leicester Welford Road Cemetery, Screen Wall 01.204
