Charles Frederick was born in 1880 in Loughborough, Leicestershire, his siblings were Alfred K., born 1877 and John B., born 1878, both his siblings were born in Loughborough, Leicestershire. In April 1881 the family home was at 14, High Street, Loughborough, Leicestershire. He later married and became the husband of Alice A. Ball. He died from wounds suffered at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli, Turkey.
