In April 1911 Sidney was a Schoolboy and was residing in the family home at 8, Hastings Road, Loughborough, Leics., together with his parents and siblings, Evelyn, Cyril, Rose, born 1902 in Shepshed, Leics., Frederick Thomas, born 1905 and Bernard, born 1911, the latter two siblings were both born in Loughborough, Leics.
