He was the son of John Henry Bradshaw a warehouseman, born 1866 in Coalville, Leics., and his wife Mary Jane, born 1866 in Leeds, Yorks. Stanley was born in 1887 in Swannington, Leics., his siblings were Mary E., born 1886 in Swannington, Leics., Harriett A. L., born 1889 in Coalville, Leics., and Maud E. P., born 1891 in West Bromwich, Staffs., in April 1891 the family home was at 10, Private House, Temple Street, West Bromwich, Staffs. In March 1901 Stanley was employed as a pipe yard labourer and was residing in the family home at 57, Hall Street, Church Gresley, Derbys., together with his parents and siblings, Mary, Harriet, Maud, Gladys M., born 1894, Ernest V., born 1896 and William G., born 1899, the latter three siblings were all born in Newhall, Derbys., Constance V., born 1901 in Church Gresley, Derbys. Stanley died of pneumonia.
