He was the son of Henry Bramley a master tailor, born 1822 in Loughborough, Leics., and his wife Mary, born 1826 in Loughborough, Leics. Albert was born in 1859 in Loughborough, Leics., his siblings were Sarah Ann, born 1849, Emmaline, born 1851, Harry, born 1853 and William, born 1855, all his siblings were born in Loughborough, Leics., in April 1861 the family home was at Wood Gate, Loughborough, Leics. In April 1871 Albert was residing in the family home at Wellington Street, Loughborough, Leics., together with his parents and siblings, Emmeline, Harry, William and Arthur, born 1862 in Loughborough, Leics. In April 1881 Albert was a serving soldier stationed at 95th Regiment South Camp, Aldershot, Hants. In April 1891 Albert was employed as a framework knitter and was residing in the family home at 13, Wellington Street, Loughborough, Leics., together with his widowed mother, and brother William, sister in law Elizabeth Bramley, born 1869 in Loughborough, Leics., and his niece, Sarah Bramley, born 1889 in Loughborough, Leics. In March 1901 Albert was employed as a machinist’s labourer and was residing in the family home at 65, Wellington Street, Loughborough, Leics., together with his wife of eleven years, Elizabeth, born 1869 in Loughborough, Leics., and their children, Sarah Ann, born 1889, Albert, born 1893, John Henry, born 1894, Elsie May, born 1895, Arthur, born 1898, Gertrude, born 1900 and Robert Baden, born 1901, all the children were born in Loughborough, Leics. In April 1911 Albert was employed as a general labourer and was residing in the family home at 78, King Street, Loughborough, Leics., together with his wife and children, Sarah, Albert, John, Elsie, Arthur, Gertrude, Ida, born 1903, Winnie, born 1905, Wilfred, born 1907 and Frederick Ernest, born 1909, the latter four children were all born in Loughborough, Leics. His son John Henry died of wounds received in action.
