Battalion reached final objective from line running east and west in N.19.b to communication trench in N.32.a. Prisoners taken, over 150 and many machine guns. Casualties fairly light. Battalion HQ. N.31.a.2.5. (sunken road again). 08.00 62nd Brigade pushed through 110th Brigade. Hostile artillery very active. 12.00. Battalion ordered to concentrate in N.14.a., HQ. N.12.a.2.7., “C” and “B” Companies in sunken road, “A” and “D” Companies in trench running north and south in N.21.a. Slight gas shelling during the night.
