SEQUEHART. 10.00am. Enemy started a vigorous shelling of neighbourhood of Battn HQ’s and kept it up for 2 ½ hours. No actual damage done but work in the circumstances was very difficult. A and D Coy’s which had become disorganised during the previous day were now reorganised and once more capable of putting up a good fight. 9.00pm. 137th Infantry Brigade relieved by Cavalry and Cyclists and went into reserve. Battn marched by Coy’s to ETRICOURT arriving about midnight. Men very tired. New timing ie. 24 hour clock started.
