The War Diary for today records that at ZERO advance commenced and A Company went into Shine Trench vacated by the advancing Norfolk Regiment. At 5.05pm the 71st Infantry Brigade Operational Order 108 was received which provided for a bombing attack, and which was subsequently cancelled. At 7.30pm 71st Infantry Brigade Operational Order 109 was received stating Brigade would be relieved on the 19th/20th . Casualties, other ranks 21 wounded, 8 killed and 2 missing.
