He was the son of Mrs J. Hornsby of Swithland, Leics. The War Diary for today records. During last night 21st/22nd the following relief took place, C. Company relieved A Company in posts 1.30/1 and 1.30/2 on completion of relief, B Company relieved two Lewis gun sections of A Company who then reported to Officer Commanding A Company at CANADA STREET. Casualties during the day were other ranks 1 wounded.
