Frank William was born in 1900 in Syston, Leics., he had one sibling, a sister Gladys J, born 1899 in Syston, Leics., in March 1901 the family home was at Albion Street, Syston, Leics. In April 1911 Frank was a scholar and was residing in the family home at Albion Street, Syston, Leics., together with his parents and siblings, Gladys, Eric, born 1902, Dorothy, born 1904 and Lilian, born 1907, the latter three siblings were all born in Syston, Leics. This information is uncorroborated, and therefore may not relate to the name on the inscribed on the memorial.
