At 8.00pm. “C” and “A” Companies moved up to the front line at REUTEL J.11.c. relieving elements of 9th and 10th KING’S OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY and 1st EAST YORKSHIRE REGT. “B” and “D” Companies moved into local support J.11.c. The relief was quiet. One Company 8th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. and one Company 9th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. moved into reserve at J.11.c. and came under orders of the 7th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. 6th LEICESTERSHIRE REGT. were on the left and the CHESHIRE REGT. (5th Division) on the right.
