He was the son of Alfred Chambers a brewer’s labourer, born 1865 in East Farndon, Northants., and his wife Frances A., born 1862 in Daventry, Northants. Frederick was born in 1900 in Great Bowden, Leics., his siblings were, Annie, born 1889, Agnes, born 1891, Lottie, born 1894 and Daniel, born 1895, the latter four siblings were all born in East Farndon, Northants., Albert J., born 1899 in Market Harborough, Leics., in March 1901 the family home was at 7, Leicester Lane, Great Bowden, Leics. In April 1911 Frederick was a scholar and was residing in the family home at 55, Caxton Street, Market Harborough, Leics., together with his parents and siblings, Annie, Lottie, Daniel, Albert and Arthur, born 1908 in Great Bowden, Leics. This entry has no conclusive evidence that it relates to the F. Chambers on the Market Harborough War Memorial's, however he is the only F. Chambers with a direct connection to Market Harborough.
