'Death of Lubenham Soldier'
'News has come to hand of the death of Pte. Martin Albert Rippin, aged 21, third son of Mr and Mrs J Rippin of Lubenham. He was one of triplets born in Jamaica. He was employed at St Mary's Garage before joining up'.
