His headstone reads: 'In memory's garden we meet every day'.
Although official Forces Records show Ronald as the son of Reginald, a corn merchant/labourer, and Mary Wadsworth of Uxbridge Middlesex, the Register of Electors for 1937/38 show them living at Rushes Lane, Lubenham. The 1939 Register shows Reginald and Mary living at 'Brookhurst' Scotland Road, Little Bowden, Market Harborough. In 1940 the Wadsworths and three other children moved to Foxton Road, Lubenham. Our research has shown that Ronald Wadsworth was born in North Luffenham, Rutland, September 1920, and that he then lived in Market Harborough.
