ContributeSource: Michael Doyle Their Name Liveth For Evermore: The Great War Roll of Honour for Leicestershire and Rutland. He was the son of Mr Joseph and Mrs A. R. Page. He enlisted in the 7th Battalion of the Leicestershire Regiment and went to France in March 1915, where he took part in the actions on Vimy Ridge, he also served in Egypt. He died of heart failure in the Alexandra Hospital, Cosham in Hampshire. Other sources show his place of residence as Orange Lane, Uppingham, Rutland.
