Arras Memorial Aged 27 Regiment 1st (Duke of York's) Lancers 'Skinner's Horse' Indian Army. 1914 Star 22/09/1914 attached 9th Lancers, transferred 4th Dragoon Guards Nov. 1914. Invalided home Dec. 1914. Joined RFC Jan. 1915 as Observer & later trained as Pilot.
