He was the son of James Bullimore a foreman road contractor, born 1852 in Woolsthorpe, Lincs., and his wife Annie, born 1857 in Yorkshire. Frederick was born in 1897 in Sheffield, Yorks., he had one sibling, a sister Bertha, born 1900 in Sheffield, Yorks., in March 1901 the family home was at 1, 16, Court, Moore Street, Ecclesall, Yorks. In April 1911 Frederick was unemployed and was residing in the family home at Holmhirst Farm House, Norton Woodseats, Derbys., together with his parents and siblings, Bertha, Dora, born 1902 in Sheffield, Yorks., and Elizabeth, born 1909 in Woodseats, Derbys. His parents later resided in Exton, Rutland. Prior to enlistment he was a carter. He embarked for France in November 1916. He died from cerebro spinal meningitis at Rouen.
