Killed Aged 37 whilst serving with No 11 O.T.U (Operational Training Unit) on the 30/07/1944.
He was part of the crew of Vickers Wellington X HZ375 which crashed near Charndon, Buckinghamshire during a training sortie after the starboard wing failed.
He was buried in Leicester (Welford Road) Cemetery.
