PD. There is currently no conclusive evidence to connect the name of this casualty to any of the names at present held in the Leicestershire and Rutland database. Therefore as at Wednesday 10th July 2019, this remains an open record awaiting further information.

This H Nixon may be Henry Nixon of Colton Street, Leicester. The CWGC records a Private H Nixon 9549 of the 1st Leics Regt (d18/2/15) and a Private Horace Nixon 33061 of the 9th Leics. Regt (d 3/5/17) who may also have a connection with the city. Further work needed.
