Serving with Flying Training Command at RAF Cranwell, Lincolnshire.
Died in Loughborough Hospital from injuries sustained while travelling as a passenger in a car which collided with a lorry on the Fosse Road, about a mile from the Durham Ox, Six Hills.
Buried- Leicester (Belgrave) Cemetery Sec. D. Grave 156.
