In Loving Memory of
Harold
the beloved son of the late
John and Matilda Pickering
who died June 17th 1918 Aged 22 years
''Be ye also ready, for such an hour as ye
Think not, the son of man cometh''
----------
He was not loved by one, but all,
Yet had to go when God did call;
His life was short but oh, twas sweet
We hope in heaven with him to meet.
-------------
Also of James, his brother,
Who was killed in France Sept 29th 1918
Aged 20 years
------
-- will bind the unbroken chain
--- when we meet again
we longed for his safe return
---------
