ContributeStone erected by Leicestershire County Council in 1974, with a dedication plaque explaining that this was the spot that the Danny Williams theory suggested King Richard III fell. The stone was temporarily removed in around 2006, while the the archaeological survey for the battle location by Leicestershire County Council was underway, but reinstated by popular demand. It often has dedications left there by Ricardian supporters, especially during August (the month of the battle) when wreaths and flowers are left, and a toast to King Richard III held. It previously had an interpretation board. Since the archaeological survey disproved the possibility of this site being connected with the battle, the board was been removed. A flag bearing the square flag of King Richard III was also sited there previously. It was moved to the Battlefield Centre in Jan Feb 2012.
