Park opened 1921. Includes tennis courts, pavilion and sensory garden which contains WMP1269 and WMP1360 and has various herbs with accompanying plaques, and two purple brass plaques with WW1 and WW2 names (nowy headed on black granite tablets featuring a dove of peace with olive branch in its beak against green background within the nowy head). Inside front entrance has wooden totem pole with carved doves(?) and enscribed with "peace". Pavilion room includes information board (locked at time of visit). Information boards around site all have messages of peace at base, including plaques accompanying herbs within sensory garden. Also includes curved bench with five panels mounted on supports rising from its back detailing the history of the site in five stages (geological history, medieval period, 19th Century, 1921 and 1996) and another information board sited within entrance also gives a historical background. Temporary plaque added on Remembrance Day 2010 for Post-1945 names
