Block of stone with black stone tablet mounted on smooth face, with gold inscription. Commemorates crash site of Wellington Bomber, which was on a training flight and may have suffered from mechanical failure. Unveiled 14 January 2005 (60th Anniversary of the crash) by Don Bayley TD, Chairman of Burbage Parish Council.
