ContributeRough hewn celtic cross in Cornish granite on two tiered base surmounting two steps. WW1 inscription on two base tiers; additional WW2 plaque propped on steps. Additional (loose) bronze wreath resting below steps (stolen November 2010). Unveiled Sunday 20 August 1921 by Lieut Col RE Martin CMG; dedicated by Dean of Stamford, Very Rev PO Ashby MC MA. Site donated by WH Herbert of Whetstone Pastures.
