Corby stone wheel cross on square column surmounting square pedestal with slate tablets bearing inscription (possibly added to alter the WW1 inscription after WW2). Whole on a square platform sub-base & four tiered octagonal base. Apparently designed from old market cross at Stapleford (UKNIWM). Unveiled November 1919 by Colonel John Gretton MP of Stapleford Park; dedicated by Rural Dean Rev FBA Williams. Cost about 130 pounds.
