Limestone Cross. Four-sided plinth has incription in black incised lettering on each face; set upon two-tier octagonal steps, all of same material.

View Further Details Memorial Type:Cross Ref: WMP0189 Other Designation: Conservation Area Notes: The war memorial at Braunston in Rutland is located in the churchyard at All Saints' and was unveiled in August 1921. The memorial first commemorated 12 servicemen who fell in the Great War, with the names of two men who died in the Second World War added subsequently. In April 2015 the name of Gladys Walter WRAF was added to the memorial, following a local campaign. Gladys died of pneumonia on 11/11/1918 and is officially commemorated by a CWGC headstone in the churchyard.
