Red Hollington stone cross on tall shaft surmounting square plinth with direct inscriptions but also bearing nowy-headed bronze plaques with inscriptions, on two tiered base. One small plaque appears to be for names of more recent casualties. Unveiled Tuesday 24th May 1921 by Earl of Denbigh. The cross was disassembled to allow for cleaning and further carving and more stone was added when reassembled to provide better proportions and to give space for two bronze plaques. Recent call for further name to be added (see Leics Mercury article linked).
