Steps fronting Egerton Lodge have three plaques in central parapet section with main inscription, flanked by six tablets on each side bearing names and further inscription. Memorial stone in Garden placed by Royal British Legion. Memorial replaced war shrine which was adjacent to the bandstand in New Park
