Small Portland stone cross on two tiered base of Forest of Dean stone, standing on curved wall bearing slate plaques (central inscription, flanked by two WW1 plaques, with WW2 plaques on the wall ends facing the road (latter have wreathes in relief above). Unveiled and dedicated Saturday 28th May 1921 by Col Sir Charles Yate. Remainder of funds for memorial once balance paid were given to the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
