Standing on rock which leads into square pillar bearing inscription on three sides, surmounting two tiered base. Within small railed enclosure. Unveiled 13th November 1920 by Field Marshal Earl Haig GCB DM GCVO, Late Commander-in-Chief of British Forces; Vicar Rev HD Hanford dedicated memorial.
